Our Story

TheSaaSPeople is run by Rohan Punjani, founder and lead engineer. He has shipped software for clients since 2019, and formalized the studio in 2025 because the people who need serious software, municipal bodies, factory owners, founders, kept struggling to find a partner who would actually deliver: not just code, but design, infrastructure, communication, and follow-through.

That work now runs where failure is expensive: government waste-traceability platforms, weighbridges at remote industrial sites, textile ERPs, school systems, and SaaS products. We've seen what works, what breaks, and what separates systems that last from projects that stall.

So the studio works differently:

Questions About Us

Who will I actually work with?

Rohan Punjani, the founder and lead engineer. TheSaaSPeople is founder-led: he scopes, builds and supports every engagement himself, and stays your single point of contact from the first call to production. When a job needs extra hands, you are told who before they start.

How long has TheSaaSPeople been around?

Rohan has shipped software for clients since 2019. He formalized that work as TheSaaSPeople in 2025, which is why the company profile says 2025 while the portfolio goes back further.

Where are you based?

Jamnagar, Gujarat. Most work runs remotely over calls, WhatsApp and a shared repository, and we come on site when the job needs it, for example to set up a weighbridge cabin or train operators on a plant floor.

Who owns the code, the servers and the data?

You do, from day one. Repositories, databases and servers sit in your accounts, nothing is licensed back to us or locked to us, and when an engagement ends you get every credential and a handover pack.

How do payments work?

Fixed-price builds are billed in stages against the milestones written into your SOW, and retainers monthly in advance. Every payment is by bank transfer or UPI against a GST tax invoice issued first.

What happens if something breaks after launch?

Anything that behaves differently from the signed scope is fixed free for thirty days after go-live. After that, changes are quoted one by one or covered by a monthly retainer.
